When the United States Men's Hockey Team earned silver at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, the lone Blackhawks representative on Team USA was Patrick Kane. For the team's 2014 vintage, Kane could be joined by two of his teammates - Brandon Saad and Nick Leddy - as all three were named to the U.S.'s Olympic Orientation Camp on Monday.

The three Blackhawks players will join 45 other U.S.-born players from Aug. 26-27 in Arlington, Va., who have their sights set on the Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia, this February. 24 of the NHL's 30 clubs will be represented in the camp.

A trip to Sochi would mark the fourth international tournament appearance by Kane, who also won gold at the 2006 IIHF World Under-18 Championship and bronze at the 2007 World Championship. Saad, a 2010 World U18 participant, and Leddy, a veteran of the 2011 World Junior Championship, have never competed internationally at the senior level.

16 of the 48 players that will attend camp were part of the United States team that won the silver medal in 2010.
