The Blackhawks will once again be without the services of Marian Hossa
and Patrick Sharp
when they face the Red Wings Sunday morning in Detroit, Head Coach Joel Quenneville announced after practice. Neither forward will make the trip to Michigan while recovering from their respective upper-body injuries, though both continue to practice with the team.
The good news on the Blackhawks' injury front is that Viktor Stalberg, who was hit by a puck late in the third period of Friday night's game against Anaheim, is expected to be in the lineup for the rivalry game.
Quenneville also announced that netminder Corey Crawford will start the game Sunday, his first start Monday's game against Los Angeles.
