Hawks Reassign Three, Recall MacDonald

General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the Blackhawks have assigned forwards Dave Bolland and Adam Burish along with defenseman Cam Barker to the Norfolk Admirals in the AHL. They have also recalled forward Craig MacDonald from Norfrolk.

Adam Burish began the season with the Blackhawks and appeared in six games but did not score. Dave Bolland had been recalled from Norfolk on October 22nd and had appeared in just one game and did not score. Cam Barker underwent ankle surgery prior to the start of training camp and has not yet played this season.

Craig MacDonald has appeared in 7 games for Norfolk this season scoring 3 goals while adding 6 assists for 9 points with 12 penalty minutes. He has scored 1 shorthanded goal and had a +6 rating.

Mac Donald, 29, was signed as a free agent by the Blackhawks on July 31, 2006. Last season, he split time between the Calgary Flames and Omaha in the AHL.
