by Staff Writer / Chicago Blackhawks

NORFOLK, VA - Today, the Norfolk Admirals announced they have renewed their ECHL affiliation with the Greenville Grrrowl for the 2005-06 season. A one-year extension on their agreement, the Admirals and Grrrowl will continue working together to develop players for their parent NHL club, the Chicago Blackhawks.

"We're looking forward to working with the Greenville Grrrowl again this season," said Admirals' General Manager Al MacIsaac. "Our continuing relationship will be key to the development of young players in the Blackhawks' system."

Among the players to see action for both Norfolk and Greenville last season were forward Krys Barch and goaltending prospect Mike Brodeur.

2005-06 Season Tickets as well as 20 Game Plans and 10-Packs are on sale now through the Admirals' office and through the team's website. For more information, contact the Admirals at (757) 640-1212 or visit them online at
