The Blackhawks will turn to netminder Ray Emery Friday when the Florida Panthers visit the United Center, Blackhawks Head Coach Joel Quenneville told the media after practice on Thursday. The assignment marks the 29-year-old netminder's first start in four games.
Emery has earned a 10-3-2 record in 16 games with the Blackhawks this season, yielding 2.67 goals per game with a .907 save percentage. He last appeared in net on Jan. 12, a 5-2 win against Minnesota at the United Center. Emery is a career 8-3-0 against the Panthers with one career shutout.
