Desjardins activated, van Riemsdyk placed on IR

The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have activated forward Andrew Desjardins from Injured Reserve and added defenseman Trevor van Riemsdyk to Injured Reserve. Desjardins was originally placed on injured reserve on Oct. 10. Van Riemsdyk has not played due to injury since Oct. 22.
The Blackhawks return to action tonight when they face off against the Dallas Stars at American Airlines Center at 7 p.m. CT. The game can be seen on WGN-TV and heard on WGN Radio AM-720.
