The Blackhawks fell to the Dallas Stars on Sunday night at the United Center, 6-4, in the final meeting of the year between the division opponents
Philipp Kurashev and Jonathan Toews scored off deflections, Boris Katchouk netted his first as a Blackhawk and Kirby Dach added a late snipe in the loss. Kevin Lankinen made 15 saves on 20 shots in the first two periods before Collin Delia came on in relief, stopping nine shots in the third.

1st - 4:14 - Jamie Benn (Miro Heiskanen, Ryan Suter) -- PP

Dallas got on the board early at the tail end of the game's opening power play as Jamie Benn cleaned up a rebound in front of the net. Miro Heiskanen put a one-timer from the point on net that Kevin Lankinen made the initial stop on through traffic, but Benn quickly got a backhand chip on the rebound and put the puck over the Netminder's glove for a 1-0 game.

1st - 8:09 - Philipp Kurashev (Patrick Kane)

Chicago answered to make it 1-1 on a 2-on-1 rush as Philipp Kurashev and Jonathan Toews entered the Stars end on the break. Kurahsev went to send a pass across to Toews, but the puck deflected off diving Dallas defenseman, and fellow No. 23, Esa Lindell and into the net past Jake Oettinger, who had slid across in anticipation of the pass.

1st - 11:24 - Jonathan Toews (Patrick Kane, Kirby Dach) -- PP

The captain got his own goal off of Esa Lindell on Chicago's first power play of the night for a 2-1 lead. Along the wall late in the man advantage, Toews tried to thread a seam pass to a wide-open Kirby Dach on the far side of the slot, but the stick of Lindell broke the play up only to see the puck deflect into his own net for the Chicago goal.

1st - 13:45 - Joe Pavelski (Tyler Seguin, John Klingberg) -- PP

The power surge continued less than two minutes later as Joe Pavelski notched a power-play goal with a deflection in front. Tyler Seguin put a shot from the point on goal that Pavelski tipped from the edge of the crease just under the arm of Kevin Lankinen for a 2-2 deadlock.

2nd - 1:47 - Roope Hintz (Joe Pavelski)

Dallas took the lead back early in the second as a cross-ice pass from Kirby Dach in his own end caught the stick of Joe Pavelski on the forecheck. Pavelski quickly left the puck for Roope Hintz in the high slot, whose quick wrister eluded Kevin Lankinen through traffic for a 3-2 lead.

2nd - 9:11 - Boris Katchouk (Erik Gustafsson, Reese Johnson)

Chicago tied things once again near the midpoint of the game as Boris Katchouk netted his first point and first goal as a Blackhawk. Erik Gustafsson fed the winger at the far point off a broken play and Katchouk unleashed a one-timer that found twine past a MacKenzie Entwistle screen in front, and then unleashed a fist pump and a scream to celebrate.

2nd - 11:13 - Jason Robertson (Roope Hintz)

Dallas kept the back-and-forth game going two minutes later a Jason Robertson setup a play and then finished it off for a 4-3 score. From the corner, the forward sent a backhand pass to Roope Hintz in the slot, where Hintz's one-time bid deflected wide of goal and off the glass. Robinson found the bouncing puck behind the goal line and threw a puck back into the slot that rattled off the leg of Kevin Lankinen and into the net to regain the lead.

2nd - 14:32 - Jason Robertson (Roope Hintz, Ryan Suter)

The Stars opened up the game's first multi-goal lead a short while later as Jason Robertson netted his second of the night. Robertson took a pass from Roope Hintz along the far wall and loop around the top the the circle before firing a wrister that found the back of the net for a 5-3 advantage.

3rd - 15:25 - Tyler Seguin (Jamie Benn, Miro Heiskanen)

Dallas put the game away after a scoreless third period when Tyler Sequin potted a wraparound chance off a broken play behind the net for a 6-3 lead.

The Blackhawks scored a late goal as Kirby Dach sniped a shot into the far corner from in tight with a high-rising wrister for ninth of the season.
