GAME RECAP

CHI: 0, BOS: 1

3rd - 4:43 - Patrice Bergeron (Brad Marchand, Taylor Hall)

After an incredible 39 straight saves over the first two-plus periods, the Bruins finally snuck one past Marc-Andre Fleury early in the third just after a power play. A Brad Marchand shot in tight was turned aside by the pad of a sprawling Fleury at the post, but the rebound went skyward and Patrice Bergeron was able to bunt the puck into the back of the Chicago net from the edge of the blue paint for a 1-0 lead.

Chicago got on the board with a mid-air connection of their own five minutes later. Alone in front providing the screen, Brandon Hagel tipped an angled shot from Caleb Jones at the point past the shoulder of Linus Ullmark for a 1-1 tie near the third period's midpoint.
