The Oilers tallied their only goal of the night at 17:41 of the third period when James Neal netted a power-play goal to cut the Blackhawks lead 2-1. Chicago secured the win at 19:28 in the third period after the Oilers pulled Mike Smith for the extra attacker. Brandon Saad tapped in a empty netter during a scramble in front of the net giving the Blackhawks a 3-1 win.
