Team USA suffered a 6-0 loss to Sweden on Saturday morning in the semifinal of the IIHF World Championship.
The loss was the first time the United States has been held scoreless throughout their nine tournament games.
Patrick Kane finished the tilt with three shots on goal in 22:02 of time on ice, Connor Murphy added two shots on goal for Team USA in 16:48 of TOI, and Alex DeBrincat did not register a shot in his 13:37 of play.
Jordan Oesterle and Erik Gustafsson did not play in the game.
The United States will take on the loser of Canada and Switzerland's semifinal matchup in a third-place game on Sunday morning at 8:45 a.m. CT. Sweden will take on the winner in the championship at 12:45 p.m.
