BLOG: Saad talks Stanley Cups with 7-year-old reporter

A 7-year-old reporter with two Stanley Cups asked Brandon Saad when he can expect to see No. 3

Perspective is a funny thing at the Kids Only press conference. The Blackhawks famously ended a 49-year Stanley Cup drought in 2010, but for some fans, that might as well be ancient history.

7-year-old reporter Michael had a simple question for Brandon Saad: "The Hawks have only won two Stanley Cups since I was born, when will you win another?"

Moderator Troy Murray was quick to point out that "a few of us in here waited a little bit longer than that to see two Stanley Cups."

But Saad was optimistic and with teammates Collin Delia, Alex DeBrincat, Connor Murphy and Drake Caggiula on stage, took Michael's question seriously and suggested a third Stanley Cup might not be too far away.
