Kane-Keith

In the runup to the unveiling of the NHL First and Second All-Decade Teams on Jan. 24, the NHL announced its best plays, moments, events, coaches and team of the 2010s.
There's no denying that
the Blackhawks were the league's top team of the decade
and as such, recognition among the NHL's top moments of the decade is following.

The decade of the Blackhawks

Jan. 24 - All-Decade Team

Two key pieces of Chicago's dominant decade, Patrick Kane and Duncan Keith, were named to the NHL's All-Decade Team, both among the First Team selections.

NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman surprised Kane with the news in St. Louis ahead of the 2020 NHL All-Star Game:

Kane named to All-Decade Team

Jan. 22 - Goal of the Decade

The goal that returned the Stanley Cup to Chicago after a 49-year absence still lives in mystery: what ever happened to the puck? What isn't a mystery is its place as the decade's best, named Goal of the Decade on Wednesday by NHL.com.

Jan. 18 - Playoff Series of the Decade

There's nothing more dramatic than overtime of a Game 7. Factor in a series comeback from 3-1 down to force the winner-take-all period, and the stakes don't get much higher. That's why the 2014 Western Conference Final takes the cake as the Playoff Series of the Decade.

Jan. 17 - Franchise of the Decade

More Stanley Cups than any other team and setting numerous NHL records along the way, the Blackhawks took the title as the Franchise of the Decade.

Jan. 16 - Coach of the Decade

As the man behind the bench of three Stanley Cup runs in five seasons, no NHL coach comes close to matching the on-ice success that Joel Quenneville saw in the early part of the decade. It's no surprise that 'Q' takes the title of the NHL's Coach of the Decade.
