Chicago Blackhawks hockey returns to the United Center this week, kicking off the team's 21-22 home slate. With fans back in full voice for the first time since March 2020, the team is thrilled to offer several special events and festivities throughout the month to celebrate another exciting season together. October gameday experience highlights include:


HOME OPENER

Tuesday, Oct. 19 vs. New York Islanders
Pregame Atrium Event: To welcome fans back, the Blackhawks are hosting a special pregame happy hour in the United Center Atrium, presented by Bud Light. Get there early for half-price beverages from 4 - 6 p.m., plus live music, photo opportunities and more before game time.
Atrium doors will open at 4 p.m. with United Center gates to follow at 5:30 p.m. Fans should be sure to be in their seats by 7 p.m. to catch the opening show!

1KANE CELEBRATION

Thursday, Oct. 21 vs. Vancouver Canucks
Pregame Atrium Event: Fans will finally get the opportunity to recognize Patrick Kane's 1,000th game, and the Blackhawks will offer multiple custom photo opportunities in the United Center Atrium before the on-ice celebration. Food and beverage will also be available. Atrium doors will open at 5 p.m. followed by United Center gates at 6 p.m.
Gate Giveaway: The first 20,000 fans in attendance will receive a commemorative 1Kane poster. Plus, 88 posters will be autographed by Patrick Kane himself and randomly placed within the allotment across the gates!

OKTOBERFEST

Sunday, Oct. 24 vs. Detroit Red Wings
Pregame Atrium Event: A fan-favorite event, Blackhawks Oktoberfest returns to the United Center before the team takes on the Red Wings. The Atrium 'beer garden' will open at 3:30 p.m. featuring a live band, brats & beer, Oktoberfest décor and more. United Center gates will follow at 4:30 p.m. for a 6 p.m. game start.

DIA DE LOS MUERTOS

Wednesday, Oct. 27 vs. Toronto Maple Leafs
Pregame Atrium Event: Celebrate Día de los Muertos with the Blackhawks! Presented by Don Julio and Smirnoff Spicy Tamarind, the United Center Atrium will be filled with décor and photo opportunities alongside traditional live music. Plus, fans can grab tacos from the arena's exclusive 'This Little Goat Went to the Taqueria' from renowned chef Stephanie Izard and special beverage activations. Atrium doors open at 4 p.m. with United Center gates to follow at 5 p.m.
