The Chicago Blackhawks will conduct their 2013 Prospect Camp at Johnny’s IceHouse West in Chicago (2550 W. Madison St.) from Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 12.
The camp roster of 51 invites is highlighted by 2013 National Hockey League Entry Draft selections and Illinois natives Ryan Hartman (30th overall), John Hayden (74th overall) and Anthony Louis (181st overall), as well as former first-round selections Phillip Danault (2011) and Kevin Hayes (2010). Illinois natives Vincent Hinostroza (2012 NHL Entry Draft, 169th overall) and Alex Broadhurst (2011 NHL Entry Draft, 199th overall) will also attend.
On-ice sessions will begin on Monday, July 8 and will run from approximately 12:30-3 p.m. CT at Johnny’s IceHouse West. On Tuesday, the camp will be split into two groups that will each practice for approximately 75 minutes. Scrimmages will be conducted Wednesday-Friday (three 20-minute periods).
All on-ice sessions at Johnny’s IceHouse West are open to the public and all practice times are subject to change.
