Blackhawks to host 2011 Training Camp Festival on Saturday

The Chicago Blackhawks will host their 4th Annual Training Camp Festival on Saturday, September 17. The marquee event of the Festival will allow a sold out crowd inside the United Center to watch the Blackhawks first day of on-ice training camp practices and scrimmages with Head Coach Joel Quenneville wearing a microphone. The first 10,000 fans to enter the building will receive a Patrick Sharp bobblehead. A complete schedule is below.

Training Camp Inside the United Center
8:00 a.m. – Gates to the United Center open (fans must have a ticket to enter)
9:00-9:45 a.m. – JuniorHawks Clinic with Eddie Olczyk and Troy Murray
10:00-10:30 a.m. – Blackhawks Team A practice (Joel Quenneville mic’d)
10:45 a.m.-12:00 p.m. – Blackhawks Scrimmage: Team A vs. Team B
12:15-1:30 p.m. – Blackhawks Scrimmage: Team B vs. Team C

Street Festival in Parking Lot C
7:00 a.m. – Event opens, live music begins on main stage
8:00 a.m. – 10K inline skate and 3-on-3 street hockey tournament begin
9:00 a.m. – 5K race begins
10:15 a.m. – Blackhawks bags tournament begins
1:30 p.m. – Event ends
