Blackhawks to honor Kane for record-breaking point streak

by Chicago Blackhawks / Chicago Blackhawks

The Chicago Blackhawks will honor forward Patrick Kane for his record-breaking 26-game point streak with a pregame ceremony on Sunday, Jan. 3, prior to the 6 p.m. game vs. the Ottawa Senators. The ceremony will include a video highlighting Kane’s point streak, in addition to a brief presentation by Vice Present/General Manager Stan Bowman.

Kane’s franchise-best 26-game point streak (16G, 24A) from Oct. 17-Dec. 13 marked the longest such streak by an American-born player and the longest streak by any National Hockey League player since 1992.

Sunday’s game can be seen on Comcast SportsNet and heard on WGN Radio.
