Blackhawks Recall Troy Brouwer

General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the Blackhawks have recalled forward Troy Brouwer to the Norfolk Admirals in the AHL.

Brouwer returns from Toronto where last night he participated in the American Hockey League All-Star Game as a member of Team Canada and recorded an assist in a 7-6 loss to PlanetUSA.

In his first pro season, Brouwer scored 25 goals and 53 points for Norfolk this season and was selcted to play in the All-Star contest. Brouwer's 53 points ranked 3rd in the AHL scoring race when he was recalled by the Blackhawks on January 25th. Brouwer has appeared in four games for the Blackhawks this season.
