The Chicago Blackhawks have recalled forward Brandon Bollig
from the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs.
Bollig, 25, has registered a career-high six assists and nine points (3G, 6A) in 53 contests with Rockford this year, and ranks seventh in the AHL with a team-high 163 penalty minutes. Originally signed as a free agent following a collegiate career at St. Lawrence University, the St. Charles, Missouri, native has notched eight goals, seven assists and 285 penalty minutes in 111 regular-season tilts over parts of three seasons (2010-12) with the IceHogs.
The Blackhawks will host the Toronto Maple Leafs at the United Center on Wednesday night (Feb. 29) at 7:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast on Comcast SportsNet Chicago and can be heard on WGN Radio AM-720.
