Blackhawks Recall Bochenski, St. Pierre

General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the Blackhawks have recalled forwards Brandon Bochenski (left) and Martin St. Pierre from the Norfolk Admirals

Bochenski returns to the Blackhawks for the second time this season after being named the AHL "Player of the Week" scoring 7 goals, including 2 game winners, with 8 points in four games last week for the Admirals. He scored 4 goals in Norfolk's 7-5 win over Philadelphia on Saturday night.

Bochenski has played 19 games for the Norfolk Admirals scoring 18 goals, including 11 on the power play, to go along with 14 assists for 32 points with 17 penalty minutes and a +1 rating. He was acquired from the Ottawa Senators along with Ottawa's 2nd round draft pick (Simon Danis-Pepin) last season in a trade that sent Tyler Arnason to the Senators.

Martin St. Pierre appeared in 20 games for Norfolk scoring 6 goals with 26 assists for 32 points with 18 penalty minutes and a +5 rating. St. Pierre was signed by the Blackhawks as a free agent on November 12, 2005. He appeared in 2 games for the Blackhawks last season and did not score.
