Blackhawks reassign Hinostroza

The Chicago Blackhawks announced today they have reassigned center Vincent Hinostroza to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.


Hinostroza, 21, made his National Hockey League debut with the Blackhawks on Oct. 17 vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets and has played in seven games with the Blackhawks this season. The Chicago native has scored 27 points (10G, 17A) in 41 games with Rockford this year after making his professional debut with the IceHogs last season. He was originally drafted by the Blackhawks in the sixth round (169th overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft.

The Blackhawks return to action on Thursday when they host the Nashville Predators at 7:00 p.m. The game can be seen on Comcast SportsNet and heard on WGN Radio AM-720.
