In conjunction with the National Hockey League and NBC, the Chicago Blackhawks announced today that their Sunday, Feb. 19 game against the St. Louis Blues at the United Center will be televised nationally on NBC as part of “Hockey Day In America.” To accommodate the broadcast, the game time has been moved up to 11:30 a.m. (CT), from 2:00 p.m., as previously scheduled.
Additionally, the start time for the Blackhawks tilt at the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday, Feb. 18 has been moved up to 12:00 p.m. CT, from 1:00 p.m., as previously scheduled. The game will be broadcast locally on Comcast SportsNet Chicago and can be heard on WGN Radio AM-720.
Feb. 19 will be Chicago’s second national broadcast on NBC this season. The Blackhawks faced off against the Detroit Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena in the 2012 debut of the network’s Game Of The Week series on Jan. 14.
