In conjunction with the National Hockey League and NBC, the Chicago Blackhawks announced today that their April 10 regular-season finale against the Detroit Red Wings at the United Center will be televised nationally as NBC’s Game of the Week. To accommodate the broadcast, the game time has been moved up to 11:30 A.M. (CT), from 3:00 P.M., as previously scheduled.
April 10 will be Chicago’s fourth national broadcast on NBC this season. The Blackhawks faced off against the Philadelphia Flyers in a Stanley Cup Final rematch in the 2011 debut of the network’s Game of the Week series on January 23, and also met the Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals in nationally televised tilts.
The Blackhawks will host the Anaheim Ducks at the United Center on Saturday, March 26 at 7:30 P.M. The game can be seen locally on Comcast SportsNet Chicago and heard on 720 WGN.
