Despite suffering an upper body injury during Sunday's 4-2 win over Calgary at the United Center, Blackhawks defenseman Brent Seabrook
traveled with the team to Pittsburgh Monday afternoon ahead of their Tuesday meeting with the Penguins, according to the Blackhawks Media Relations Department.
Seabrook left Sunday's game with 4:35 left in the first period following a hit from behind that sent the defenseman headfirst into the boards. Though Seabrook left the ice under his own power, he immediately went to the dressing room and did not return. The Flames' Rene Bourque was assessed a five-minute major penalty and game misconduct for the hit and will have a hearing with the league today.Daniel Carcillo
, who has missed the past two games with an upper body injury, did not make the trip with the team.
