Blackhawks Extend Chief Amateur Scout's Contract

by Chicago Blackhawks Press Release / Chicago Blackhawks
The Chicago Blackhawks announced today the team has agreed to a multi-year contract extension with Chief Amateur Scout Michel Dumas.

The 2008-09 regular season will mark Dumas’ 31st in the Blackhawks organization. A native of St-Antoine de Pontbr, Quebec, Dumas scouts junior hockey games each season, preparing Chicago for the NHL Draft. The former goaltender played parts of two seasons for the Blackhawks (1974-75 and 1976-77), accruing a 2-1-2 record with a 3.98 goals-against average while backing up Hall of Famer Tony Esposito.
