The Chicago Blackhawks have assigned forwards Jeremy Morin and Ryan Potulny to the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs.
Morin, 19, has registered three points (2G, A) and a +1 plus/minus rating in eight games with Chicago this season. The Auburn, New York, native has netted six goals, including a team-high four power-play markers, in 17 AHL tilts in his professional debut.
Potulny, 26, has posted two shots, three hits and one takeaway in three tilts with Chicago this season. He also shares the Rockford team lead with seven goals and a +4 plus/minus rating, and ranks second with 18 points (7G, 11A) in 25 AHL tilts with the IceHogs this year, his first in the Blackhawks organization.
The Blackhawks will host the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday, December 15 at 7:30 P.M. The game can be seen locally on CSN+ and heard on 720 WGN.
