WGN Radio and the Chicago Blackhawks have announced the return of the broadcast series, WGN Radio’s Chicago Blackhawks Live, a series of one-hour radio broadcasts hosted over dinner throughout the 2013-2014 season featuring current Blackhawks players, legends, and front office executives with Blackhawks radio broadcasters John Wiedeman and Troy Murray.
The season premiere will feature Blackhawks forwards Bryan Bickell and Andrew Shaw. The event takes place on November 11th at 7:00p.m. at Old Town Pour House at 1419 N. Wells in Chicago. Tickets for the event will go on sale Wednesday, November 6 at 12:00p.m. and can be purchased by visiting www.chicagoblackhawks.com/blackhawkslive.
Tickets start at $50 per person and include a photo opportunity with the players, an autographed photo of Bickell and Shaw, dinner, tax and gratuity. There is a four ticket maximum per person. The event doors open at 4:00 p.m., followed by event registration at 6:15pm and dinner and the live broadcast from 7-8 p.m. Normal business operations resume at Old Town Pour House immediately following the show. Valet parking is available for $12.
Blackhawks Live made its debut during the 2011-2012 season, with previous events selling out in record time. Each broadcast features a question-and-answer format between the hosts and the featured Blackhawks guests, and members of the audience also have an opportunity to submit questions for guests throughout the show.
Dates for the upcoming broadcasts and featured guests will be announced on a monthly basis and posted to www.wgnradio.com/events.
