Aucoin Expected To Play Tuesday

by Staff Writer / Chicago Blackhawks

Aucoin OK: Blackhawks coach Trent Yawney says he expects captain Adrian Aucoin to be back in the lineup Tuesday night in Nashville to face the Predators. Aucoin missed four games with a groin injury and re-aggravated the injury last Tuesday night against Vancouver. Aucoin skated with the team Monday and Yawney said Aucoin had a good practice ... One In, Two Out: The Blackhawks will be without forwards Kyle Calder and Tuomo Ruutu on the upcoming road trip against Nashville and Detroit. Calder split his elbow open during practice last Saturday and did not dress for Sunday's win over Minnesota. Calder could possibly be back in the lineup Saturday at home against Detroit. Ruutu has missed the last two games with a sore back and Yawney said he has no plans to get him back on the ice until he is completely pain free.

If It Ain't Broke: Based on the line pairings at practice Monday, expect Tuesday night's lineup to be the same as Sunday's with Tyler Arnason, Pavel Vorobiev and Rene Bourque anchoring the top line, Curtis Brown, Matthew Barnaby and Martin Lapointe on the 2nd line Mark Bell, Jim Dowd and Matt Ellison on the 3rd and Michael Holmqvist, Jason Morgan and Milan Bartovic rounding out the 4th.
