1st Star: C Tanner Kero, Rockford IceHogs (AHL)
The Line: 3GP, 3G, 1A
Kero earned CCM/AHL Player of the Week honors after posting three goals and an assist in three games last week to help the IceHogs get back to a winning record (4-3-0-0). The 23-year-old tallied twice—including the game-winner—and added a helper in a 3-2 victory over Iowa last Wednesday, then netted his sixth goal of the season in a 4-2 win over Milwaukee on Saturday. Kero currently shares ninth in the league with eight points in seven games, ranking third among AHL rookies.

2nd Star: RW Roy Radke, Barrie Colts (OHL)
The Line: 3GP, 2G, 3A
Radke, the Blackhawks’ sixth-round pick in 2015, enjoyed a big week for the Ontario Hockey League’s Barrie Colts. He tallied the first two goals and added a helper in an 8-5 win over Flint on Thursday, then collected two more assists in Barrie’s 5-3 win over Oshawa on Sunday. Radke now shares fifth on the team with 10 points (6G, 4A) in 12 games; he finished his rookie campaign in 2014-15 with 18 points in 64 games.

3rd Star: RW Marko Dano, Rockford IceHogs (AHL)
The Line: 3GP, 1G, 3A
Dano has begun the season well alongside Kero and Jeremy Morin; he ranks second on the team with six points in seven games and shares second with 17 shots on goal. The Slovakia native, a former 2013 first-round draft pick, scored his first goal of the season for the game-winner in Milwaukee on Saturday and added three assists for Rockford last week.
Honorable mentions: LW Graham Knott, Niagara IceDogs (OHL); RW Ryan Hartman, Rockford IceHogs (AHL)
Knott got on the scoreboard for the first time this season on Friday in Niagara’s 5-1 win over Guelph, then added his second goal of the season the next night in a 3-2 loss to Kingston; Chicago’s 2015 second-round pick now has four points in 12 games this season.
Hartman opened his scoring ledger for the season on Friday, tallying in Rockford’s 4-3 shootout win over Chicago; the next night, Chicago’s 2013 first-round pick assisted on Dano’s game-winner in Milwaukee before adding the empty-netter late in the third.

- Liam Coughlin collected a pair of assists in the University of Vermont’s 5-2 loss to North Dakota on Saturday. The freshman forward now leads the team with four assists and ranks second in points... Nick Schmaltz picked up an assist in each of UND’s wins over the Catamounts, giving him five helpers in six games so far in his sophomore campaign... Anthony Louis extended his assist streak to three games, picking up two over the weekend to help Miami of Ohio split a set against St. Lawrence... Tyler Motte has picked up the scoring for Michigan, potting three in two games last weekend, including his first multi-goal contest of the campaign on Saturday at Rensselaer.
- IceHogs captain Brandon Mashinter compiled points in all three of Rockford’s games last week, scoring the opening goal twice and adding a helper for his first points of the season... Ville Pokka and Cameron Schilling were a productive blue-line pairing for the IceHogs, each picking up two helpers in three games last week... Erik Gustafsson posted his first professional point with an assist on Friday against Chicago, while Dennis Robertson contributed his first point (1A) since joining Rockford on Saturday in Milwaukee.
- Michael Leighton started in goal for all three IceHogs wins last week, making a combined 72 saves on 79 shots (.911 save percentage) to improve his record to 4-2-0-0 on the season.
- Corey Tropp notched a goal and an assist for the AHL’s Albany Devils, including the game-winner in a 4-1 victory over Binghamton on Sunday. He has three points in six tilts this season.
