1st Star: C Vincent Hinostroza, Notre Dame (H-EAST)
The Line: 2GP, 1G, 3A
Hinostroza extended his point streak to a season-long five games with a goal and three assists over the weekend, helping Notre Dame to a split against New Hampshire. The 2012 sixth-round pick had a goal and a helper on Friday in a 5-2 loss, then tacked on two more assists the next night in a 5-3 win, including one on the game-winner. Hinostroza moved into second in team scoring with four goals and a team-high 21 assists in 28 games this season.

2nd Star: G Mac Carruth, Indy (ECHL)
The Line: 2-0-0, 41-save shutout
Carruth's hot streak continued last week, as the netminder extended his win streak to seven starts with victories in both games for Indy. On Wednesday, the 2010 seventh-round pick made 31 saves on 33 shots in a 3-2 win over Gwinnett, then completed a 41-save shutout over the Elmira Jackals. Carruth now has an 8-9-2-2 record with a 2.53 goals-against average and .913 save percentage in 22 games for Indy this season.

3rd Star: C Anthony Louis, Miami (NCHC)
The Line: 1GP, 1G, 1A
Miami played just one game over the weekend, winning in a shootout over Western Michigan on Saturday evening. Louis assisted on the RedHawks opening goal of the game, then netted his team's second tally on the power play; he also took Miami's first shootout attempt and scored. The 2013 sixth-rounder ranks second on the team with 14 helpers and fourth with 19 points in 22 games this season.
Honorable mentions: D Robin Press, Sodertalje (SHL2); RW Mark McNeill, Rockford (AHL)
Press opened the scoring for Sodertalje and added an assist in their 4-3 loss to HC Vita Hasten. The 2013 seventh-rounder, who is the youngest skater on Sodertalje this season, continues to lead the team with 12 goals and 29 points in 44 games this season.
McNeill tallied Rockford's opening goal in their 3-2 overtime win over the Chicago Wolves last Friday, then added an assist on the IceHogs' other regulation goal for his sixth multi-point game of the season. The 2011 first-round pick now ranks second on the team with 12 goals and third with 25 assists in 33 games this season.

- Matheson Iacopelli picked up a goal and an assist in two games for the Muskegon Lumberjacks in the USHL last week; the 2014 third-round pick shares the team lead with 16 tallies in 36 games this season... Fredrik Olofsson, a 2014 fourth-round pick, collected four helpers in two games for the Chicago Mission last week – three in a 5-2 win at Madison on Friday, and one on the only goal of a 1-0 victory over Green Bay the next night. Olofsson ranks second on Chicago with 36 points (17G, 19A) in 34 games this season.
- The University of North Dakota split a weekend set against Nebraska-Omaha, with both games going to overtime, and four Blackhawks prospects were instrumental in their team's results. UNO defenseman Luc Snuggerud assisted on the game-winner on an overtime power play, giving the Mavericks a 3-2 win on Friday... UND sophomore Luke Johnson scored his sixth goal of the season on Friday, then added a helper the next night... Senior defenseman Nick Mattson notched a helper in both games, while 2014 first-round selection Nick Schmaltz picked up an assist on Saturday.
- Blueliner Viktor Svedberg posted his third goal of the season in Rockford's 3-2 overtime win over Chicago on Friday... Drew Leblanc scored the IceHogs' lone goal, unassisted, in a 4-1 loss to Chicago on Saturday... Goaltender Michael Leighton made 28 saves on 30 shots on Friday to record his 12th win of the season, and he picked up his first assist of the season on Jamie Wise's overtime game-winner.
