2010 Blackhawks Training Camp Festival Schedule Announced

The Chicago Blackhawks have announced the below schedule for Saturday’s sold-out 2010 Training Camp Festival (September 18) at the United Center.

Training Camp Inside the United Center
8:00 A.M. – Gates to the United Center open (fans must have a ticket to enter)
9:15-9:45 A.M. – Stanley Cup will be showcased on center ice
10:00-10:30 A.M. – Blackhawks practice run by Head Coach Joel Quenneville starts
10:45 A.M.-12:00 P.M. – Blackhawks Scrimmage: Team A vs. Team B
12:15-1:30 P.M. – Blackhawks Scrimmage: Team B vs. Team C
1:45-2:15 P.M. – Blackhawks practice run by Head Coach Joel Quenneville
2:30 P.M. – Event ends

Street Festival in Parking Lot C
7:30 A.M. – Registration for “Mad Dash to Madison” opens; Street Festival begins with live music, food vendors, and the three-on-three street hockey tournament
8:00 A.M. – 10K Inline skate begins
8:45 A.M. – 5K Run begins
10:00 A.M. – Blackhawks Bags tournament begins
2:30 P.M. – Event ends

The marquee event of the 2010 Blackhawks Training Camp Festival will allow a standing-room only crowd inside the United Center to watch the Blackhawks first day of on-ice training camp practices and scrimmages with Head Coach Joel Quenneville wearing a microphone. Outside, the Festival will include a 5K walk/run and 10K inline skate named “The Mad Dash to Madison,” as well as a three-on-three street hockey tournament, a bags tournament, appearances from Blackhawks Alumni, live music, food and drink and entertainment for fans of all ages.
