Chill with the Blackhawks

The Chicago Blackhawks and lululemon have teamed up with Chill Meditation + Massage for a wellness workshop! Whether you're a meditation newbie or zen expert, come Chill with the Blackhawks at the United Center Atrium on Saturday, Mar. 31 for a guided meditation. Learn how adopting a flexible mindset and mindful meditation routine is commonly credited by athletes and business leaders for their success. Chill is the answer to the hurry! urgent! now! lifestyle we all lead. Chicago's modern wellness concept is rooted in the growing science telling us our brains need a little space and exercise of their own.

The workshop is $35 with all proceeds benefiting Chicago Blackhawks Foundation and the Lynn Sage Foundation. Registration fees are non-refundable. Registration is first come, first served and spots must be reserved in advance. Submit the form below to register.

What: Chill with the Blackhawks
Where: United Center Atrium (please park in Lot H and enter through the East Atrium entrance to the United Center)
When: Saturday, Mar. 31 from 9-10 a.m.

Order of Events:

  • 8 a.m.: Madhouse Team Store opens
  • 8-8:45 a.m.: Event check-in
  • 9-10 a.m.: Chill with the Blackhawks workshop
  • 10 a.m.: Event concludes

Important Details:

  • Attendees will need to bring their own mat for this event
  • Attendees will be able to shop the exclusive lululemon x Blackhawks cobranded merchandise before and after the class
  • sweetgreen will be onsite after the class to provide samples from their menu to all attendees
  • lululemon, Blackhawks and Chill surprises will be distributed to attendees on-site

Meet the Instructor

Darrell Jones, Chill General Manager / Co-Head of Teacher Training / Meditation Instructor

Darrell is Chill personified - his approachable and calming presence is appreciated by customers and students. As the Chill GM, he brings programming and curriculum development experience from his former position as program manager at the Old Town School of Folk Music. Darrell graduated from Kalamazoo College with a BA in Music and holds a Masters in Consciousness Studies from the Holmes Institute of Consciousness Studies. His inspiration comes from the realization that in all philosophy, science, religions, and psychology, there is some element of meditation or contemplation to stimulate change and growth.
