Wojtek Wolski's game-winning goal against the Calgary Flames on Oct. 28 took home Colorado Avalanche "Play of the Week" honors for the Oct. 23-29 time period after gaining 62.54% of fan votes.
The tally beat out another goal by Wolski on Oct. 27 at Edmonton (23.94%) and a Craig Anderson save against Detroit on Oct. 24 (13.52%).
The play now automatically qualifies for Colorado’s year-end “Play of the Year” bracket-style tournament – to be determined by Avalanche fans.

Wolski Walks Around Flames – 10/28 @ Calgary With the Avs and Flames tied in the third period, Wojtek Wolski pulled out some late-game heroics. After taking a drop pass from Paul Stastny just inside the blue line, Wolski split two defenders and walked into the slot before firing the game-winner past Miikka Kiprusoff.
