Avalanche prospect Wojtek Wolski was named the Ontario Hockey League's top player for the fourth straight month after leading the league with 40 points in 14 games during the month of March.
Wolski, who was also the OHL's player of the month in December, January and February, led the league in scoring with 13 goals and 27 assists for 40 points in 14 games, including 12 points in Brampton's six-game playoff win over the Belleville Bulls.
Wolski started the month with a five-point performance in a 9-3 win over the Oshawa Generals on March 3. The 20-year-old from Mississauga followed up with four-point games against the Barrie Colts on March 4 and the Mississauga IceDogs on March 5. He also enjoyed a five-point game in the regular season finale against the Bulls on March 19.
Wolski's Brampton squad will take on the Barrie Colts in the Eastern Conference semifinals beginning Thursday (April 6) in Brampton.
