The Bulls then pulled off a dramatic, 4-3 come-from-behind victory against the Kitchener on Wednesday, May 21, in the final round-robin matchup of the Memorial Cup, setting up a rematch with the Rangers in the semifinal round.

However, the Bulls’ season came to a close with a 9-0 loss to Kitchener on Friday, May 23rd.

Williams finished the event tied for fifth on Belleville’s scoring chart with three points (1g/2a) in four games to go along with eight penalty minutes.

Sunday, in the championship game of the 2008 MasterCard Memorial Cup, Spokane topped Kitchener by a 4-1 count to claim the title.
