USA Hockey Sled Classic

Forty-six of the top sled hockey players in the country will take part in the first annual USA Hockey Sled Classic presented by the NHL next weekend (Oct. 8-10).

The Colorado Avalanche will host the tournament's preliminary rounds at the Edge Ice Arena in Littleton, Colo., on Friday and Saturday (Oct. 8-9), before holding the championship game on Sunday (Oct. 10), at Pepsi Center in Denver.

The 46 participants are members of four sled hockey teams affiliated with NHL clubs - the Chicago Blackhawks, Colorado Avalanche, Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins.
