by Staff Writer / Colorado Avalanche
The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced Wednesday that the team has activated forward Darcy Tucker from the injured reserve list.  Tucker will be available for tonight’s game in Chicago against the Blackhawks (6:30 p.m. MT, Altitude TV, KKHI 101.9 FM).

Tucker has missed the last eight games after leaving in the second period on Oct. 23 vs. Carolina (head).  He was placed on IR, Oct. 26 (retroactive to Oct. 23).  Tucker has four goals and two assists in 10 games for Colorado this season.

The Avalanche also announced today that defenseman John-Michael Liles has been placed on the injured reserve list (retroactive to Nov. 6) due to a shoulder injury.
