Sven Andrighetto Colorado Avalanche Tampa Bay Lightning 24 October 2018

CENTENNIAL, Colo.--Sven Andrighetto is continuing to make progress as he recovers from a lower-body injury and showed that on Tuesday as a non-contact participant at practice.
The 25-year-old forward has missed the Colorado Avalanche's last five outings since his last game on Oct. 27 at the Minnesota Wild.
"He is skating now, he skated [with a] non-contact jersey, so they are ramping him up. Hopefully everything continues to go well over the next few days," head coach Jared Bednar said of Andrighetto after the session. "He won't play tomorrow, doubtful for Friday. Then, hopefully, if everything goes well, he will be on the road with us and might be an option for us."

Colorado returned from a two-game Canadian road trip on Sunday after defeating the Edmonton Oilers 4-1 at Rogers Place.
The team will get back to action on Wednesday against the Boston Bruins and Friday against the Boston Bruins. After the two outings at home, Colorado visits the Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Kings and Arizona Coyotes.
The Avs utilized a day away from the rink on Monday and were back at work with a 45-minute practice at Family Sports Center on Tuesday.
Matt Calvert did not practice as he was taking a maintenance day and J.T. Compher (head) skated on his own in a red, non-contact jersey.
"It's nice to have an off day, we got in pretty late after the Edmonton game," said second-year forward Alex Kerfoot. "It was a hard practice today. I think our legs will be under us for tomorrow's game."
Kerfoot was with Colin Wilson and Tyson Jost on a line for the game at the Oilers, and the three forwards are expected to play together against the Bruins. Jost returned to Colorado's lineup on Friday against the Winnipeg Jets after missing four games with a head injury.
"I liked our line combinations [in Edmonton]. With Jost coming back in, we kind of eased him into the Winnipeg game because he seemed tentative to me," said Bednar. "He starts playing a pretty good game. Gains some confidence as the game goes, we get him up on Kerfoot's line, and we can kind of settle in to the way we like it."
After the session, Bednar confirmed that goaltender Semyon Varlamov will be in net against the Bruins.

Center Alexander Kerfoot on facing the Boston Bruins:"We just got to focus on ourselves as much as worrying about them, I think it's more about us and if we play our game we will do well."

Head Coach Jared Bednar on Sheldon Dries and Vladislav Kamenev: "I like the idea of playing Dries with a couple veteran guys in Edmonton in Soderberg and Calvert and I really liked what Kammy was able to do with a couple veteran trusted guys. I thought that was his best game at both ends of the rink. He ended up playing close to 10 minutes I think in that game, which is where I would like to get him and let him keep building from there with the special team's time."
