Stastny, Wolski Among League's Top Rookies

Paul Stastny and Wojtek Wolski both rank among the NHL rookie scoring leaders this season. The 20-year old Stastny ranks third among rookies in scoring with 12 points, trailing only Anze Kopitar and Matt Carle. Stastny also ranks third in assists (9). He finished October with 10 points, the second-highest scoring total by an Avalanche rookie in the month of October, trailing only Marek Svatos' 11 points in October of 2005.

Fellow 20-year old Wolski is tied for second among NHL rookies in power-play goals (2), is tied for fourth in goals (4) and ranks fifth in points (10). A look here at the rookie scoring leaders (through games of Sunday, November 5)
