Practice Report: February 13

by Kyle Shohara / Colorado Avalanche
Sporting an orange (non-contact jersey) Matt Duchene skated with the team this morning for the first time since his knee injury on December 29.

Duchene, who's been skating on his own for the last week, once again took the ice by himself prior to practice at the team's practice facility.

Duchene participated in the team's entire practice, including work on the power play.

"He looks good out there," said Paul Stastny.  "He brings life to this team."

Duchene will accompany the team on their three-game Canadian road trip.

The Avs will practice tomorrow morning at Family Sports Center before boarding a plane for Vancouver.
