The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club has announced that single-game tickets for all potential home games in the first round of the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs are now on sale.
The Colorado Avalanche and TicketHorse, the official ticketing provider of the team, also announced that there will be no additional fees on tickets sold through TicketHorse or at the Pepsi Center box office.
“We are committed to our loyal fans and want to thank them for their continued support,” said Colorado Avalanche Chief Marketing Officer Kurt Schwartzkopf
. “Our no additional fees this postseason is another example of our dedication to our fans.”
Because no additional fees will be attached to the purchase of playoff tickets – whether online, by phone or in person – there will be no price advantage to buying at the arena box office. For those who prefer to purchase their playoff tickets in person, a lottery will be held at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday at Pepsi Center to determine the beginning of the line. Fans who choose digital ticketing through Flash Seats® receive their tickets instantly. Flash Seats is the most convenient ticketing system and the preferred method of delivery by the Colorado Avalanche.
Fans can order tickets in person at all TicketHorse kiosks (at area Dick’s Sporting Goods) or the Pepsi Center box office, online at www.TicketHorse.com
or by phone by calling 303.53.HORSE. Credit cards accepted include MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover.
A special pre-sale for Avalanche Alert subscribers will be held today. Avalanche Alert is the official newsletter of the Colorado Avalanche. Fans can sign up for the free newsletter through the Avalanche Facebook page
Round one playoff games will be limited to eight tickets per household, per game and start as low as $31. Forty percent of the available tickets will be less than $65.
