Stockholm Sweden Djurgarden 2017 November 8

The Colorado Avalanche is on a 10-day road trip that includes a week in Sweden for the SAP NHL Global Series. Colorado will play two games against the Ottawa Senators on Nov. 10-11.
ColoradoAvalanche.com is writing about the trip.

The Avalanche had a pre-scheduled off day on Wednesday, with the team having no official activities planned.
The day off allowed the players to sleep in and continue to adjust to the time change, as well as give them a chance to explore Stockholm.
Several of the Avs went around the city to check out the various cafes, shops and museums in this once-in-a-lifetime trip.
Despite having the day to do as they please, there was still a little work to do so the players' bodies are ready to go for the back-to-back contests on Friday and Saturday against the Ottawa Senators. Many of the Avs went to the hotel spa to help in that recovery process but also pamper themselves a bit.
Colorado returns to the ice on Thursday morning with another practice at the Ericsson Globe. It will be the team's last chance to work and focus on the details of its play before game day.
