Beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 18, during the Colorado Avalanche vs. Vegas Golden Knights preseason game, a new post-event rideshare area within the Toyota Tundra Parking Lot and exit traffic pattern will be designated for all sports and entertainment events at Pepsi Center.

"KSE's top priority is the safety of our fans," said KSE's SVP of Venue Operations Dave Jolette. "With the growth of ride share usage by our fans, an organized location that can handle the volume of customers is vital to providing a secure pick up system that will enhance the overall fan experience at Pepsi Center."

Starting on Sept. 18, Chopper Circle will close mid-event, and road closure barriers will be placed at the four locations listed below:

  • Chopper Cir. and 12th St.
  • Chopper Cir. and 11th St.
  • On Chopper Cir. at the main roundabout
  • Auraria Pkwy and 9th St.

With the designation of a new rideshare area within the Toyota Tundra Parking Lot, all incoming rideshare traffic will be diverted into the west side of the parking lot, where all pick-ups will be made. Diverted traffic includes Lyft (the Official Rideshare Partner of Pepsi Center) as well as other rideshare companies, limos, Access-a-Ride and taxis.

Post-event road closures, rideshare area pick-up and the new exit traffic pattern will begin for each type of event on Pepsi Center property as follows:

  • At the start of the second period of Colorado Avalanche games
  • When the main act takes the stage at concerts and family events
  • At the start of halftime for Denver Nuggets games
  • At the start of halftime for Colorado Mammoth games

Event attendees with inquiries regarding this change are encouraged to contact Pepsi Center Guest Relations at guestrelations@pepsicenter.com or by phone at 303-405-8548.
