Jean-Luc Foudy Windsor Spitfires intro

Jean-Luc Foudy was selected 75th overall by the Colorado Avalanche in the third round of the 2020 NHL Draft on Wednesday. The 5-foot-11, 177-pound center recorded 43 points (15 goals, 28 assists) in 59 contests with the Windsor Spitfires in 2019-20, his second campaign in the Ontario Hockey League.

The Scarborough, Ontario, native helped Team Canada win a silver medal at the 2019 Hlinka Gretzky Cup after notching two goals and two helpers in five outings.
Foudy comes from an athletic family as his mom, France Gareau, anchored Canada's silver medal-winning relay team in the 1984 Summer Olympics, his father, Sean, played six campaigns in the Canadian Football League. His brother, Liam, was drafted at 18 overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2018 and made his NHL debut this past season.
