CA-2223-KSC-16x9

Avs Faithful, you made a difference.
During Thursday night's Colorado Avalanche home game against the Anaheim Ducks, Kroenke Sports Charities (KSC) will donate a total of $565,000 to 27 non-profit organizations throughout the state of Colorado that meet and activate the Kroenke Sports Charities mission.

Kroenke Sports Charities strives to serve our community through education, health and fitness initiatives, athletic programs, and direct aid, with the particular purpose of helping families, children, veterans, and the disabled. KSC provides relevant programs and support, directly and with other nonprofit organizations, to ultimately assist, encourage, and enrich the lives of those in need.
The money raised for the Watch Party Grants was accrued - thanks to the generosity of Avs Faithful - throughout the duration of the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Avalanche hosted several away game watch parties at Ball Arena and launched the Pom Pom Post - a pom pom delivery platform - with the goal of raising money that would be donated back non-profit organizations within the Colorado community. Signifying the Avalanche 27th season, 27 non-profit agencies were chosen following an open grant inquiry process. These selected agencies serve nearly 3.3 million people in Colorado.
"We are privileged to partner with these outstanding organizations which provide programs and services for Coloradoans," said Deb Dowling, Executive Director of KSC. "Each organization provides unique services to enrich lives."
"We are so honored to be selected as one of the community grant recipients from Kroenke Sports Charities!" "Pastor B" Bryan Sederwall, Executive Director of the Denver Dream Center said. "The support and the funding from Kroenke Sports will strengthen the Denver Dream Center's "Adopt A Block" program which engages students in five low income / high risk communities in Denver and connects them to after school and sports programs. We can't say thank you enough for the opportunity to partner with KSC and the Avalanche and to continue to build bridges of HOPE in the city of Denver."
"Support from Kroenke Sports Charities helps us to provide experiential therapies to the traumatized youth we serve," Rebecca A. Hea, Psy.D., Executive Director of Denver Children's Homeadded. "This includes art, yoga, music, pet, and equine therapies which makes all the difference in healing and transforming lives."
