The Vegas Golden Knights rallied to defeat the Colorado Avalanche 3-2 on Friday night at T-Mobile Arena in Game 3 of the second round in the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Avalanche leads the best-of-seven series 2-1.
The Golden Knights scored twice in a matter of 45 seconds late in the third period to turn a 2-1 deficit into a 3-2 advantage. Jonathan Marchessault banked a shot in at 14:52 and Max Pacioretty tallied the eventual game-winner on a redirection at 15:27.
