Andrew Hammond Mark Barberio Playoffs Nashville Predators 2018 April 20

The Colorado Avalanche looks to once again evade elimination tonight, as it hosts the Nashville Predators in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs Round 1 series at Pepsi Center.
Nashville leads the best-of-seven series 3-2 and can advance to the second round against the Winnipeg Jets with a victory. A Colorado win would force a Game 7 on Tuesday at Bridgestone Arena.
The Avs won't make any lineup changes to the one they iced in Friday's 2-1 victory at Nashville in Game 5, head coach Jared Bednar said during his pregame media availability.

Goaltender Andrew Hammond will make his second consecutive start in net for the Avalanche, as both Jonathan Bernier (lower body) and Semyon Varlamov (knee) are out with injuries. Spencer Martin will be the backup.
Hammond stopped 44 shots in the Game 5 victory. It was the most saves in his NHL career, both regular season and playoffs.
Below is the Avalanche's projected lineup, based on the team's combinations in Game 5. They are subject to change.
