DENVER - The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced Wednesday the additions of defenseman Jeff Finger and forward Wojtek Wolski to the club's 2006 Stanley Cup playoff roster.
Finger, 26, spent the entire season with Lowell of the American Hockey League, compiling three goals and 20 assists for 23 points in 70 games. He led the team with 116 penalty minutes and ranked third in games played. Finger was Colorado's 11th selection (240th overall) in the 1999 Entry Draft.
Wolski, 20, finished third in the Ontario Hockey League scoring race with 47 goals and 81 assists for 128 points in 56 games with the Brampton Battalion. He began this season with the Avalanche, recording two goals and four assists in nine games before being sent to his junior team on Oct. 26.
