The Rampage claimed its largest lead of the night with goals from Grimaldi and Sam Henley, but the Reign countered again to force the contest into overtime with 57.2 seconds left in regulation.
In the extra frame, Grimaldi collected a pass from Compher and beat goaltender Jack Campbell to capture the win. Jeremy Smith started in the crease and put up 28 stops in the club's victory.
The following night, the Rampage rallied after trailing 4-2 in the second period but would not be as fortunate.
Greer scored the first marker of the night, finishing passes from Compher and Clark. Ontario quickly countered and took a 2-1 lead before Compher blasted home a loose puck to tie it up heading into the first intermission.
The Reign slipped two more past Martin to solidify the lead and, despite a tally from Sergei Boikov, took the win. Martin made nine saves in the contest and spilt time with Smith, who stopped all 12 shots he faced. Girard and Whitney assisted on the final Rampage marker.
Grimaldi leads the team in points (35) and goals (18) and has 17 assists this season. Greer follows with 32 points (13 goals) and leads the squad in assists (19).
Greer participated in the 2017 AHL All-Star Classic on Sunday and Monday as the lone representative from the Rampage. He picked up a goal and an assist in three contests during the main event and placed second in the hardest shot competition with 99.3 mph rocket of a slap shot.
