San Antonio Rampage

San Antonio then swept the Tucson Roadrunners with a 5-2 win on Friday and a 4-2 win on Saturday, both at Tucson Convention Center Arena.
After a scoreless first period on Friday, Troy Bourke opened the scoring at the 3:05 mark of the second and O'Brien blasted one in 51 seconds later to extend the lead. The Roadrunners narrowed the gap halfway through the second period, but Bourke answered back with his second goal of the night, a short-handed play, to earn his first AHL multi-goal performance.
Rocco Grimaldi collected a pass from Greer and found the back of the net in the final stanza, and JT Compher finished an empty-netter to secure the game. Gabriel Bourque registered an assist in his return to the ice, his first game back since sustaining an injury on Dec. 10 in Iowa, and Anton Lindholm and Joe Whitney also added helpers.
On News Year Eve, the Rampage skated away with a 4-2 victory with the help of Whitney and Bigras, who each registered one tally and one helper.
After taking a first-period lead, Tucson tied it up 1-1 with its lone marker in the middle frame. The Rampage responded with two quick goals from Greer and Junlien Nantel to regain the lead in the third. The Roadrunners brought the game within one score before Bigras capitalized on a power play at 15:27 of the final frame.
O'Brien, Grimaldi, Bourque and Compher all picked up assists in the win. Martin (7-7) started between the pipes and finished with 26 saves on the night. The win was his third straight since being reassigned to the Rampage on Dec. 23.
Grimadli (10 goals, 13 assists) and Greer (nine goals, 14 assists) lead the team with 23 points and Whitney comes in second with 19 points (seven goals, 12 assists).
San Antonio continues its six game road trip at the San Jose Barracuda on Wednesday.

Colorado Eagles (ECHL)

The Colorado Eagles traveled to Anchorage to face the Alaska Aces in a three game series last week.
On Friday, the Eagles started strong with a 4-1 victory, scoring three consecutive goals before Alaska found twine in the second period to prevent a shutout.
The team was unable to continue the momentum and dropped a 4-1 decision on Saturday. The Eagles put up 32 shots on goal and finally lit the lamp in the middle frame to cut the lead to 2-1 but were unable to find the equalizer.
Colorado lost again on Sunday, falling 6-4. Trailing 5-1, the Eagles capitalized on a 5-on-3 and went on to score three unanswered goals in the second frame, but the team ran out of steam in the final stanza.
The Eagles face the Orlando Solar Bears on Jan. 6 at home to start a three-game series.

OHL

Travis Barron (Ottawa 67's): The Ottawa 67'skated in three games last week but only picked up one win. Travis Barron scored in the team's 7-5 loss to the Peterborough Petes on Thursday. The 67's then split decisions with the Oshawa Generals, with a 3-1 victory on Friday and a 4-1 loss on Sunday. Barron has five goals and 16 assists for 21 points this season.

QMJHL

JC Beaudin (Rouyn-Noranda Huskies): JC Beaudin recorded seven points last week even though the Huskies went 1-2. Rouyn-Noranda came up short 3-1 to the Shawinigan Cataractes on Wednesday. Beaudin had a helper in the contest. On Friday, Beaudin scored back-to-back goals in the first period to tie the game and chipped in an assist on a power play as the team fell 6-4 to the Val-d'Or Foreurs. The Huskies found success late in the week with a 4-3 victory over the Foreurs on Saturday. Beaudin registered another multi-point performance with a tally and two assists to extend his seven-game point streak. He has recorded 30 points (nine goals, 21 assists) in 17 of the last 18 games, dating back to Nov. 12 and only missed the scorecard on Dec. 9 against the Charlottetown Islanders. Beaudin has 49 points (19 goals, 30 assists) in 34 games this season.
Nicolas Meloche (Charlottetown Islanders): Nicolas Meloche made his debut with the Charlottetown Islanders, which swept a trio of games last week. The Islanders started with a 2-1 win over the Halifax Mooseheads on Wednesday, continued with a 3-2 win over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan on Friday and beat the Moncton Wildcats 2-1 on Saturday. Meloche has 21 points (seven goals, 14 assists) in 29 games.

WHL

Josh Anderson (Prince George Cougars): The Prince George Cougars (27-10-2) dropped a 5-1 decision to the Victoria Royals on Tuesday and then were shutout 3-0 on Wednesday. The Cougars won 4-3 over the Everett Silvertips on Friday. They are ranked first in the B.C. Division and third in the WHL. Anderson has collected five assists over 36 games.

NCAA

Will Butcher (University of Denver): The Denver Pioneers (12-4-4) dropped one place and are now ranked No. 3 after they were unable to find a win against Providence at Schneider Arena. The Pioneers tied the Friars 2-2 on Friday and then lost 3-1 on Saturday. Will Butcher recorded his fourth goal of the season on a power play in the loss. Butcher leads the team points (18) and assists (14).
Tyson Jost (University of North Dakota): The University of North Dakota (10-6-3) brought in the new year with a 3-1 victory against No. 10 Union College (14-4-2) on Saturday after being off for holiday break. Jost did not play in the match as he is competing for Team Canada at the IIHF World Junior Championship, where he has one tally and one helper in the tournament. Jost has also recorded seven goals and 11 assists in his first collegiate season.
Cam Morrison (University of Notre Dame): The No. 12 ranked University of Notre Dame (11-6-2) shutout Alaska 5-0 on Saturday and 4-0 on Sunday. Cam Morrison registered two points (one goal, one assist) last weekend and has 12 points (five goals, seven assists) in 19 games this season.
Ben Strom (St. Cloud State University): St. Cloud State University (9-8-1) competed in the Desert Classic last week in Prescott Valley, Arizona. The Huskies fell 4-3 to the University of Connecticut on Saturday but bounced back to defeat host Arizona State 4-2 on Sunday.

Sweden

Gustav Olhaver (Rogle BK J20, Super Elit): Rogle BK last played on Dec. 11 and will return to action on Jan. 7. Olhaver has scored six goals and added eight assists in 20 games this year.
Adam Werner (Bjorkloven, Allsvenskan): Bjorkloven skated in one game last week and lost 3-2 to AIK on Wednesday. Werner did not compete in the contest as he is with Sweden's National Junior Team at the IIHF World Junior Championship in Canada. Sweden is undefeated after beating Slovakia 8-3 in the quarterfinals on Monday. Adam Werner has a 2.66 goals-against average and a .901 save percentage in 17 Allsvenskan games.
Wilhelm Westlund (Almtuna IS, Allsvenskan): Almtuna IS struggled to find a win last week and fell 5-2 to VIK Västerås HK on Wednesday and 4-3 to Mora IK on Friday. Westlund has one tally and five assists over 22 games.

Slovakia

Maximilian Pajpach (HK Poprad, Slovak Extraliga): Maximilian Pajpach has split time this season between HK Poprad of Slovak Extraliga and MHC Martin B in Slovakia's second-tier pro league. Pajpach has a .878 save percentage and 3.96 goals-against average in eight games for Poprad. He's recorded a 7.05 goals-against average and .828 save percentage in five contests with MHC Martin B.

KHL

Denis Parshin (Salavat Yulaev Ufa): Salavat Yulaev Ufa is ranked second in the Chernyshev Division with 72 points. The team was unable to produce a win last week, losing 6-4 to Lada Togliatti on Tuesday and 5-3 to Metallurg Mg Magnitogorsk on Thursday. Parshin has registered 16 points (eight goals, eight assists) in 39 games.
Andrei Mironov (Dynamo Moscow): Dynamo Moscow only played in one game last week and fell 5-3 to CSKA Moscow on Thursday. Andrei Mironov is out with an injury. He has one tally and three assists in 11 contests.

High School

Nate Clurman (Culver Academy): Culver Academy competed in a four-game tournament last week. On Thursday, Culver won 3-1 over Dexter in the morning and then defeated Thayer 5-3 that afternoon. Culver defeated Canterbury 6-1 on Friday and then lost 2-1 in a shootout to Lawrence during the final game on Saturday.

Central Interior Hockey League

Luke Walker (Terrace River Kings): Walker is currently playing for the Terrace River Kings in the Central Interior Hockey League in British Columbia. Colorado's fifth-round draft choice in 2010 spent the last three seasons in Europe.
