DENVER - The Colorado Avalanche Community Fund presented a total of $117,000 to 16 local charities tonight, before the Avalanche game versus the Detroit Red Wings.
Avalanche defenseman Ken Klee joined Kroenke Sports Enterprises Executive Vice President Paul Andrews and representatives from 16 local charities in a pre-game check presentation. The Colorado Avalanche Community Fund, a fund of the McCormick Tribune Foundation is proud to support these agencies which provide programs and services to improve the education of children and families in our community.
Since its inception, the Colorado Avalanche Community Fund has granted over $11 million to hundreds of Colorado non-profit agencies.
